You can call me anything you want, just not late for dinner. My talents range from always stringing the perfect string cheese strings, knowing all the best shows to watch on the PBS app, cooking eggs in all preparations to perfection, and being able to recite the first 10 minutes of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone movie verbatim. Some of my most admired people include Carl Sagan, Dr. Zahi Hawass and my mother, Mary Susan. And if you’re wondering what this has to do with photography, the answer is nothing, butttt the more random things you know about me, the more likely you’ll share random things about you. And that’s what helps me create my best work. I’ve been living my dream for the past 7 years in Minneapolis with my son (dog) Kevin and I am addicted to being a part of your life. They say you can't choose your family but I have done just that and my family continues to grow year over year with wonderful people like you, bursting with stories to be told by a weirdo like me.

01. I know the balance it takes
My style is documentary meets fun snapshots with an editorial and true-to-life feel. I value natural moments, working together, chasing light and making good shit with my people and their people. I know when to step in and when to be right in the middle of what’s naturally happening to give your photos that effortless feel of love and joy.
02. One camera is *never* enough
Working with me doesn't mean I show up with one camera and call it a day. I show up to your life fully stacked with cameras galore. Digital, film, polaroid, instax, even short video clips are all included in your experience with me.
03. I thrive in the unplanned
It takes a lot to stress me out. And to tell you the truth? I kind of dig being amongst the chaos. “Picture Perfect” is a thing of the past. Let’s be real, feel the wind in our hair and scrinch up our noses in unbridled joy.

I not only welcome and accept who you are, I want to celebrate it. Your existence brought you here and representation and inclusion of ALL kinds of love matter to me. LGBTQIA+, Black Lives Matter, Trans Lives Matter. This is my opportunity to give back to you and I'm going to make damn sure you know how deserving you are. Your life is worth celebrating and your moments are worth remembering and I want to be the one there cheering you on.

It is far more meaningful for me to work *with* you than for you. This is about so much more than an exchange of goods and services.
